２００１年９月１１日に、アメリカでテロ事件が発生した。

今年はその事件の１５周年だ。

毎年は、この日に、あの日に死んだ２９９６人に、アメリカは敬意を払う。授業中に、そのテロ事件についてのドキュメンタリーを見る。

アメリカの歴史で、とても悲しい日だ。「ナイン・イレブン」って呼ばれる。

ナイン・イレブンに、８：４６に、モハメド・アタのアラブ系のグループがハイジャックされた飛行機は（ツインタワーとしても知られてる）ニューヨーク世界貿易センタービルに突入し爆発炎上した。その後で、ハイジャックした他の３機の旅客機も墜落した。

飛行機墜落のムービーを見ることは、いつも私を泣かさせる・・・。

私は、ニューヨークに生まれた。若すぎたから覚えてないけど、ツインタワーを見たよ。攻撃の日に、イリノイ州に住んでた。２歳になった日の前日だった。私はあの日も覚えてないけど、周りの大人はまだよく覚えてるよ。あの日にいた場所を覚えてる。

ツインタワーで仕事があったけど、病気になったから、あの日に仕事に行かなかった人もいたよ。病気でよかったね！

こんな攻撃はどこでも起こるかも、怖い思いだよ。

今よりも良い世界を作ろう。いつも優しくして、困った人を助けて、他の人の思いと気持ちをわかってみて、世界を素晴らしい場所にしよう。

戦争と暴力をやめろう。

On September 11th, 2001, there was a terrorist attack against the United States.

This year is the fifteenth anniversary of that incident.

Every year on this day, Americans show respect for the 2,996 people who died that day. In class, we watch a documentary about the incident.

It is a very sad day in American history. It's called 9/11.

On 9/11, at 8:46am, a plane that Mohammad Atta's Arab group hijacked crashed into the World Trade Center (Twin Towers) in New York, where it exploded and caught the building on fire. After that, three more hijacked planes crashed.

Watching the video of the plane crash always makes me cry...

I was born in New York. I was too young to remember it, but I saw the Twin Towers. On the day of the attack, I was living in Illinois. It was the day before my second birthday. I don't remember that day either, but the adults around me remember it well. They remember where they were on that day.

There were also people who had work at the Twin Towers that day but didn't go because they got sick. Thank goodness they got sick!

It's scary to think that this kind of attack could happen anywhere.

Let's make a world better than it is now. Let's always be kind, help people who are in trouble, try to understand others' thoughts and feelings, and make the world a wonderful place.

Let's stop wars.

Let's create world peace. (^^)
