Here is another story Jesus told:
また、ほかの譬を彼らに示して言われた。
“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer
who planted good seed in his field.
「天国は、良い種を自分の畑に
まいておいた人のようなものである。
But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came
人々が眠っている間に敵がきて、
and planted weeds among the wheat,
then slipped away.
麦の中に毒麦をまいて立ち去った。
When the crop began to grow and produce grain,
芽がはえ出て実を結ぶと、
the weeds also grew.
また、ほかの譬を彼らに示して言われた。

『ご主人様、畑におまきになったのは、
良い種ではありませんでしたか。
Where did they come from?’
どうして毒麦がはえてきたのですか』。
“The farmer’s workers went to him and said,
僕たちがきて、家の主人に言った、
‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed
is full of weeds!
『ご主人様、畑におまきになったのは、
良い種ではありませんでしたか。
Where did they come from?’
どうして毒麦がはえてきたのですか』。
“‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed.
主人は言った、『それは敵のしわざだ』。
“‘Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked.
すると僕たちが言った
『では行って、それを抜き集めましょうか』。
“‘No,’ he replied, ‘you’ll uproot the wheat if you do.
彼は言った、『いや、毒麦を集めようとして、
麦も一緒に抜くかも知れない。
Let both grow together until the harvest.
収穫まで、両方とも育つままにしておけ。
Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds,
tie them into bundles, and burn them,
and to put the wheat in the barn.’”
収穫の時になったら、刈る者に、
まず毒麦を集めて束にして焼き、
麦の方は集めて倉に入れてくれ、と言いつけよう』」。
『では行って、それを抜き集めましょうか』。

はい、そのとおりだと思います。
そして悪人が悔い改めて善人なる可能性もあるので
出来る限り多くの人が天国に迎えるために
即断を遠慮しているのではないかと考えます。
